| 2. | In the case of a new territories justice of the peace , that appointment had been made under section 3 and had become effective , and the provisions of this ordinance shall apply accordingly
如属新界太平绅士，犹如该项委任是根据第3 2条作出并已生效一样，而本条例的条文亦据此适用。 |

| 4. | A justice of the peace appointed under section 3 to be a new territories justice of the peace shall cease to hold the office of new territories justice of the peace if he ceases to be a justice of the peace under this ordinance
根据第3 2条获委任为新界太平绅士的太平绅士如根据本条例终止担任太平绅士，即须终止担任新界太平绅士的职位。 |
| 5. | A justice of the peace appointed under section 3 ( 2 ) to be a new territories justice of the peace shall cease to hold the office of new territories justice of the peace if he ceases to be a justice of the peace under this ordinance
根据第3 ( 2 )条获委任为新界太平绅士的太平绅士如根据本条例终止担任太平绅士，即须终止担任新界太平绅士的职位。 |
| 6. | The chief secretary for administration may from time to time appoint a justice of the peace appointed under subsection whom he considers to be fit and proper to be a new territories justice of the peace on such terms and conditions as the chief secretary for administration may determine
政务司司长可不时按他决定的条款及条件委任根据第1 b款获委任为太平绅士而他认为合适和适当的人为新界太平绅士。 |
